FINDING YOUR DREAM HOME

We would suggest that you make a list of what you do and don't want from your Greek home. You should consider:

• how large a house you want

• whether you want a modern villa or an older house (either for restoration or one that has already been restored)

• how important it is to have a sea view or be near a beach

• whether you wish to be in a village or in the open countryside

When you have done this, you should not be rushed into buying the first property you see but at the same time, if you do find something that you feel is just what you are looking for, you should act reasonably quickly, as good properties do not remain on the market for long!
